Did you know that if a fetus grew at the same rate for 9 months as it did for the first week, it would be the size of the Sun by the end of the 9 months?!?!

Thinking

Did you know that it is possible for a boy to totally zone-out and not think about anything? Did you know that it is impossible for a girl to think about nothing? They are constantly thinking about something. Huh. Interesting.
So why is it then that whenever you think about a boy/girl relationship, it is always portrayed that he girl is constantly complicating things and the guy being clueless. Probably because this is partly true. Since girls are always thinking about something, we are always the ones mulling over things over and over and over and over again. So if Johnny says to Suzie "Hi." Johnny is merely greeting Suzie. But Suzie starts to think past the "Hi." This is Suzie's train of thought:
He said Hi. It was nice of him to say Hi. Why did he say hi to me? Why didn't he say hi to anyone else?
Johnny said "Hi" to Suzie because he wasn't paying attention to anything. When he came back to Earth, Suzie happened to be standing there, so he said "Hi."

Maybe he likes me! He said "Hi" to me because he was only paying attention to me. Do I like him back? Sure, he's kind of cute. Wow, Johnny and I are Soul- Mates!

Now, because of a simple greeting, Suzie has her and Johnny's wedding planned out.
But, the next day Suzie is furious with Johnny because Johnny told Jim who told Timmy who told Jack who told Hillary who told Samantha who told Jenny who told Jill who told Suzie that Johnny has a crush on Brianna.
How could he?!?!?! Him and I had a connection! We were totally in love and then her betrayed me! Ugh! I will never ever, ever, ever talk to that scoundrel again!
This is just my train of though. Then again, I am a girl, so this may not be true at all. But it was fun to write about.

So, just a word of advice to you boys, you might be better off never talking to a girl again. JK! Seriously, don't take my advice there, if you don't talk to them, eventually things might get worse then if you talked to them. But, don't say the wrong thing, because that might lead to horrific endings. Perhaps you should just lock yourself in a cage and never...

I'm gonna stop talking now.

Did You Know? (Bible Facts *Because the Bible Rocks!)

BIBLE FACTS
No other book in the world has been attacked more frequently and more fiercely than the Bible, yet no other book has printed more copies, in more languages, and endured for so long, with great popularity, than the Bible.

If there was ever a classic story line of the good guy winning in the end, it is of Christ rising from the dead and coming back to set up His kingdom on earth. Some of the following is taken from a book called "Bible Panorama" by Terry Hall.

The Bible gives a central focus on Jesus Christ, with the Old Testament looking forward to His coming-and the New Testament looking for His coming again. This book had to be inspired by God to have at least 40 different authors, in about 20 occupations, living in 10 countries spanning about 6000 miles, and written in Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek.

There are 73 books in the Catholic Bible, and 66 in the King James translation. (The extra 7 books are mostly histories).

The King James translation has 1,189 chapters. If you read three chapters a day, six days a week, and four chapters on Sunday, you will read the entire Bible in less than one year’s time.

There is a cast of 2,930 different characters. There are 1,551 geographical sites mentioned as scenes of the action. The Bible has every conceivable subject included in every literary form (poetry, prose, romance, mystery, biography, science, history, etc).

The Bible has been recorded with at least 10 different media from papyrus to rocks, pen to chisel, leather to clay. There is about 1500 years between the first author, Moses, to the last author John. Not counting the Book of Job, which might have been written about 2000 BC.

The Bible tells of one true eternal God, the source of all life and good. It also tells of one diabolical head of the force of darkness. It tells of man’s inability to remain faithful to God, even under ideal conditions. It tells us Salvation from damnation comes only as a gift from God, and is received by an individual’s faith. Salvation is never earned.

Only God could have given such a book so marked by consistency and lacking any unsolvable contradiction. Read any part of it, and you encounter the plan of God, the person of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit.

Aeropostale

Why is it so cool that you have a shirt that says "Aeropostale" on it? My sister thinks she's so cool because she just bought a shirt that says "Aeropostale" on it. I think it's hilarious. I don't have anything from that store, and proud of it. I also have nothing from Hollister or any of the other cool stores.
Personally, my favorite store is Old Navy. They have stuff that is just as cool as the other stores previously mentioned, plus, they are WAY cheaper and WAY more durable. Don't you agree? If you don't, that is your opinion, but this is my blog and I am going to voice my opinion.
While I'm on the subject of shopping, I want to share some funny things that have happened on previous shopping trips.
One: A friend and I were in Old Navy and we were looking through some of the boy's jeans comparing the difference between girl's jeans and boy's jeans. We then got on the subject on skinny jeans for boys and how some guys look good in them and some guys don't. In my opinion, boys should not wear skinny jeans. I think it totally takes away their manly-ness. Skinny jeans are supposed to make you look slimmer and thinner, and when a boy wears them, I think it makes them look a wimpy as me. No offense. So my friend and I are laughing about guys in skinny jeans and we turn around to see one of the employees wearing super-skinny jeans. Whoops.
Two: I was sitting in the chair waiting for my friend to come out of the dressing room to show off the shirt she was trying on. I looked down at my phone for a sec and when I looked up, there she was looking in the mirror with her back to me. We were always jokingly insulting each other and this was a perfect opportunity. "That shirt is terrible!" I said to her. I was joking of course, the shirt looked awesome.
But then the girl turned around, and it wasn't my friend. It was someone else who looked the exact same from behind! "I am so sorry! I thought you were someone else!" I stood up.
"No, it's okay." She looked at me. "But to tell you the truth, I hate this shirt anyway." She went back into the dressing room.
I don't know if she liked to shirt or not, but as we were leaving, I looked back at her and said; "Honestly, I really liked the shirt and was just being sarcastic."
"No, I really did hate that thing."
I never saw her again, but my face turns red even when I think about it.

So, what is one of your most horrifying/hilarious shopping story?

Welcome!

Hi! I'm so glad you decided to check out my blog. I want to tell you a little bit about myself. I am a student but since this is the Internet, I would prefer to keep my age a secret. I am a girl though, I will tell you that. I have a love for all living things, especially horses. A friend and I are planning to start a magazine about horses actually. Maybe you will one day hear of it : Tales and Trails. It will be our reviews of all different Horse and Trail Resorts. So, this should be interesting.
The point of this blog is to keep track of the journey of the magazine and the little stuff going on in my life as well. My friend (Cay) and I (Jay) are starting our own blog to track the magazine as well. But I have a feeling that our blog will not be expressing our feelings, but the progress of the magazine. I think it will be healthy for us both to keep our own blog. So, here's mine. Enjoy!
Be sure to vote in the poll at the bottom of the page! And please, please, please comment. :)
